• Dr. Rajive Ganguli presented the results from the Newmont Penasquito project at the World Mining Congress in Brisbane in June 2023.
• Dr. Rajive Ganguli gave the keynote address at the 6th Advanced Process Control Conference, Peru, on June 24, 2022.
• ai.sys to assist Newmont with mine to mill relationships at Penasquito, one of the largest gold mines in the world.
• In a fun project for the University of Utah Marriott Library, the ai.sys group produced a profile of miners employed at the Bingham Canyon mine in the early 1900s.
• ai.sys to assist environmental justice researchers at the University of Utah on several projects.
• WINNERS! Our poster (Pothina et al) on COVID-19 and its effect on society was among the winners in the COVID-19 symposium. We provided the analytics support to the multi-disciplinary research team. This work has now been published as a peer reviewed paper.
